Shipping and Return Policy

Learn all about how we ship Rhino Shelf® DIY Garage Storage Kits and how returns are processed.


Free Shipping applies to orders shipped within the contiguous United States. Simply select the 'UPS Ground Shipping" choice at checkout. Other expedited shipping choices are also available at checkout - additional charges apply (next day UPS, 2nd day UPS).  Orders cannot be shipped to PO boxes, FPO, or APO addresses. They are shipped directly from our North Carolina facility to the designated physical address using UPS Ground or FedEx Ground.  Customers may be responsible for special shipping requests such as expedited delivery, remote area delivery, Saturday delivery, etc. 

Alaska and Hawaii customers are required to cover their additional shipping cost, less the cost of shipping to the city in the contiguous US that is closes to their location.  The balance of shipping charges will be the customer's responsibility.
International shipping is not presently available.  We currently ship only to US addresses. International customers may consider using a US based reshipping service.  Call Rhino Shelf Customer Service (919) 331-0204 for more details or to discuss shipping options.
Production and Shipping Times - All products are manufactured at and shipped from our North Carolina facility and are typically in stock.  Each order is pulled specifically according to the customer order. Rhino Shelf internet DIY orders are processed within 24-48 hours of receipt of order providing payment authorization was processed accordingly. Orders normally ship via UPS Ground or FedEd Ground within 24 hours and shipments leave the North Carolina facility at 3:30 PM EST.  The customer will receive a confirmation email with a UPS or FedEx tracking number included.

Delivery Time Estimates - Delivery times are determined by the distance to the delivery address.  UPS has a delivery estimate program to calculate estimated shipping times.  The 'shipped from' zip code to use is 27501.

Due to weight and size restrictions, some products must be shipped by truck. For such orders, freight shipments may apply. Freight is prepaid and added to the customer's invoice as applicable. Freight orders are shipped to customer's place of business anywhere in the continental United States and the customer may elect routing of their choice. In these circumstances, a Rhino Shelf representative will contact you to coordinate the shipment.  If a preferred carrier is requested, we will make every effort to accommodate but  applicable account information will be required.  Freight shipments, whether UPS or another carrier, cannot be delivered to PO boxes; therefore a physical address must be provided.  Any additional charges for special services or handling will be the responsibility of the customer.


If a customer is not satisfied with their Rhino Shelf DIY purchase and wish to return it, they should contact Rhino Shelf Customer Service (919) 331-0204 within 30 days from the date of purchase or receipt of goods, whichever is later.   Rhino Shelf Customer Service will issue a Return Authorization Number and coordinate the  return process.  Upon receipt of the returned product, it will be inspected for damage, missing pieces,etc. and Rhino Shelf will issue a merchandise credit, refund, or an equal exchange, whichever was predetermined by the customer and the Rhino Shelf Customer Service representative.  Return shipping charges ( totally dependent upon the return reason), may be deducted from applicable refund, unless stated otherwise by Rhino Shelf Customer Service.  COD returns are not accepted.  Custom orders are not returnable.  Restocking charges up to 25%, plus shipping/freight may apply to returns not adhering to the Return Guidelines (returns of more than 30 days after customer received goods). 

Damages/Loss Claims - If a Rhino Shelf DIY product is damaged or lost in transit, the customer should so note the damage/loss on the delivery receipt and obtain an inspection report from the truck line/shipper immediately.  If the product damage is a concealed damage (not visible until package is opened), the damage must be reported within 5 days of the receipt of the package, otherwise, the responsibility will be that of the customer.  Contact Rhino Shelf Customer Service (919) 331-0204 for assistance to report damage or loss.
